FITG Collectibles – Mail-In Signing Instructions
Thank you for your order with FITG Collectibles! Please review the following instructions carefully before sending your item(s) for an upcoming signing.

IMPORTANT: Please write the athlete's name or initials clearly on the outside of your package.

Terms & Conditions
Mail-in items are submitted at the customer's own risk.
FITG Collectibles will make every reasonable effort to accommodate requests for autograph placement, inscription placement, marker color, marker type, and signature size. However, all requests are subject to the athlete's discretion and cannot be guaranteed.
FITG Collectibles does not attend every signing in person. Although customer instructions will be communicated whenever possible, FITG Collectibles cannot guarantee exact autograph placement, inscription placement, pen or marker color, pen or marker type, signature size, or any other signing-related request.
Athletes reserve the right to refuse any autograph, inscription, personalization, or placement request for any reason.
There is no guarantee regarding the quality, size, style, strength, legibility, or overall appearance of any autograph or inscription. All signature characteristics are determined solely by the athlete.
No refunds, credits, exchanges, or discounts will be issued due to autograph placement, inscription placement, marker color or type, signature size, signature quality, athlete refusal, or any other signer-related decision.
By placing an order and/or sending an item to FITG Collectibles, the customer acknowledges and agrees to these terms and conditions.
Refund Policy
A full refund will only be issued if:
- A cancellation request is received before the advertised signing date and/or mail-in deadline; and
- Proof of purchase or a valid receipt is provided.
Refund requests submitted after the signing date or mail-in deadline will not be accepted.
If an athlete cancels a signing and the signing is not rescheduled, customers will be eligible for a refund.
Sending Your Item
Please package your item securely to help prevent damage during transit.
FITG Collectibles is not responsible for loss, theft, damage, delays, carrier errors, or mishandling that occurs while an item is being shipped to FITG Collectibles or returned to the customer.
Customers are responsible for:
- Retaining their tracking information
- Ensuring their item arrives by the stated send-in deadline
- Purchasing any desired shipping insurance
FITG Collectibles does not always provide arrival confirmations unless there is an issue with the submission.
Items must arrive by the advertised send-in deadline. Refunds will not be issued for late-arriving items because signing fees and appearance fees are paid in advance based on submitted orders.
Labeling Your Item
Please place a Post-it Note or painter's tape directly on the item itself—not on a sleeve, top loader, protective case, or display holder.
Clearly indicate:
- Preferred autograph location
- Marker color request
- Inscription request and placement, if applicable
- Authentication request, if applicable
Arrows may be used to clearly indicate the preferred signing location.
Please remember: All signing-location and placement requests are requests only and are not guaranteed.
Recommended Labeling Methods:
Post-it Notes:
- Trading cards
- Photos
- Funko Pops
- Small memorabilia items
- On top of the box, plastic, or baseball holder that the ball is shipped in
Painter's Tape:
- Jerseys
- Helmets
- Bats
- Larger memorabilia items
Please avoid standard tape or adhesives that may leave residue on memorabilia.
Include With Your Package:
Please include the following with your submission:
- Printed order confirmation or payment receipt
- Full name
- Order number
- Contact information
- Any signing instructions
- Any authentication requests
Providing complete paperwork helps prevent processing delays.
Return Shipping:
Before sending your item, please make sure one of the following has been completed:
- Return shipping has been purchased through FITG Collectibles; or
- A prepaid return shipping label is included in your package.
Tracked and insured shipping is strongly recommended.
FITG Collectibles is not responsible for loss, theft, damage, delays, carrier errors, or mishandling that occur during shipping.
Customers are responsible for obtaining any desired shipping insurance coverage.
Tracking information will be provided for return shipments purchased through FITG Collectibles. Tracking will not be provided for customer-supplied prepaid labels or SASEs. FITG Collectibles will not be held liable or responsible for PWE that the customer provides if it lost, damaged, and/or delayed in transit
USPS Prepaid Label Notice
Some USPS prepaid labels expire after 60–90 days. Please verify the expiration date of any prepaid label included with your submission.
If a return label expires before your item is ready to ship, a replacement label or additional postage may be required before the item can be returned.
Turnaround Time
Unless otherwise stated, most completed orders are shipped within approximately 7–12 business days following completion of the signing.
Turnaround times may vary due to athlete schedules, shipping carriers, authentication services, or other circumstances outside FITG Collectibles' control.
Additional Legal Terms
Assumption of Risk
By submitting an item, the customer acknowledges and accepts all risks associated with autograph signing services, including, but not limited to:
- Autograph placement
- Inscription placement
- Signature quality
- Athlete refusal
- Shipping delays
- Shipping loss or damage
- Other circumstances outside FITG Collectibles' control
By submitting an item for a signing, the customer confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
